Come be a part of our mission:
To grow, connect and inspire tech talent on the Silicon Prairie.
In 2018, AIM:
Connected over 11,700 youth to AIM Brain Exchange tech education programs in local elementary, middle and high schools;
Grew the local tech talent community by converting over 500 people into IT careers through Interface Web School, Graduate Twice, and Tech Concierge services;
Inspired over 8,300 tech professionals through our Heartland Developer Conference, Infotec Conference, IT Leadership Academies, Tech Celebration awards ceremony, and events hosted at The Exchange building in downtown Omaha.
AIM is an innovative, not-for-profit that grows, connects and inspires the tech talent community through career development and education programs.
Through these efforts, we improve thousands of lives across the Silicon Prairie.
Our Educational Programs provide life-changing learning experiences and mentoring to grow future tech talent.
Our Career Development services deliver inspirational, leading-edge training and career resources dedicated to advancing and converting talent into tech.
We embrace innovation and calculated risk.
We are community builders and difference makers.
We are positive, and team-oriented.
We live our mission of knowing and growing the tech community.
At AIM, we’re challenge seekers. We’re connectors. We believe in giving back to the community.
In 2018, AIM team members logged more than 1,600 community engagements — volunteering, mentoring, sitting on boards, participating at meetups.
In so many places, in so many ways, AIM team members build the community, on and off the job.
“What I love most about my job at AIM Institute is connecting and collaborating with local community builders to help grow the Midwest tech talent. I enjoy working together with a group of talented people who are passionate about making a difference.”
“Everyone on the team plays an equal role. My role is to create the wave, and everyone on our team keeps the wave going. People are always good company when they are doing what they really enjoy. I truly enjoy what I do with employers, job seekers, partners, youth, and the community.”
Our hub is located at the AIM Exchange Building at 19th and Harney. We’re in the heart of downtown Omaha, blocks away from the historic Old Market District.
We are always on the lookout for passionate, community-oriented doers to join our team.
